I rode down to Oberlin yesterday, just to say I went to Kansas recently, went east a ways and back-roaded it back into Nebraska. Blew two 25 amp and one 30 amp fuse on the one lead I have by-passing the fusible links when I bounced over some washboards. I tied up the one connector on the left side of the motor, and the first bump I hit, blew the 30. Put another in it, started moving wires around, and when I let go of the harness over the booster, blew another fuse. It wore through the wrap and the insulation where it lays against the firewall. So I have some wrap to remove and a bare spot to cut and splice and shrink-wrap.

I didn't look there any last spring, because it was against a flat piece of metal. Guess it showed me, eh?





I zip-tied the harness to the master cover bail, to keep it off the firewall, for now.
