ford cummins swap

ford cummins swap

i put a 92 cummins and getrag in my lifted ford and need a new clutch for it i want to truck pull and just play around with it. I am also thinking about putting so 6 16 injecter. any input

Isn't there a current thread about which clutch is better for pulling? I believe the majority says South Bend. If it was me I'd be dropping at least a dual disc in. Not so good for daily use, but will take (ab)use better. As for injectors, I don't know. There's a lot of good ones out there...


... edit... so, I'm looking further down the threads here and I see that thread I was thinking of, only it was posted by you! I'm such an idiot sometimes .

The original SACHS clutch is the best there is.

When it slips, something else is about to break anyway.
