as it sits right know, I am at like 7 degrees from pinion to driveshaft, I usally like keeping it around 4 to 5. So I need to do a 2 or 3 degree shim, but I have to wait until I do the front end to be sure. I might end up machining a 1" riser block on a 3 degree angle to get a little more lift in the rear if I have too. Ya that pic is at Silver Lake

Ya, I used a satin black and then I waxed the snot out of it just to give a semi gloss look. It Is actually a hood from a 77 powerwagon, I was going for the old muscle car look. Flat black Hood.

make a second set, send them to me, then I will let you know

Would love to do this on my truck (on a long list of things to do!). Spending to much time on my rockwell'd Toyota though.

Course, there is no weight on it yet but you would get a better ride with a shackle angle of around 45 degrees. A shackle that short moves pretty quick though, so the bed might get it close.

Great combo with this up front

Out of curiosity.... where did you get the flares you have on the front of your yellow beast? I am looking for something similar for my 1985 Crew Cab, are they Bushwhacker and if so you happen to have a part#?

Thanks

81-93 Dodge Ramcharger, Trailduster, Pickup 2wd & 4wd

Front Part # 50007-11, Rear Part # 50006-11

these are the ones I have. After I cut out the fender, I made custom inner fenders that I used a roller machine to get the right bend, If you try to reuse the stocl inner fender, you have to cut it up pretty good. I didn't like the way it looked, so I made my own. Once you cut the fender, you have to make a new lip on the inside of the fender to have a backer. They are a bunch of work. But To fit bigger tires, they are a must

Looking back at it, I probably should have put them on a little more of an angle. But, I can always move them foward if I have to. After I get the front end done, I will finish the back. I am putting a 2.5 spring in the front and possible a drop shackle. I kind of did it *** backwards. I usally like to start in the front of the truck. But it was cheaper to start in the rear.

Real nice job on the shackle lift. I was looking into doing it with some scrap factory chevy hangers, but I'd say your setup looks a lot better. Nice work on the yellow truck too.

I don't have that big over motor in it, but in 4 low on pavement, you could stomp on it and the axles would not move. I was going to put a cummins in it, but if I did I would want to lower it back down so I could drive it more. I decided it would be cheaper to build a different one..lol thanks for the compliments

Could you make some mounts to run the wider and longer 2nd gen springs?

could do about whatever you want with a welder and a plaz.

four links and air bags would be really cool.
