If you could run 3rd, you'd do a lot better. In those video's the truck doesent hardly even sound under a load till the end. Thats a good running 1st gen. How do you like your hybrid turbo?

1st hook 7500lbs, 2nd was 8500? I think thats right.

He doesn't have lockers to my knowledge. Sounds like a pretty expensive part for his truck.
He picked up an upgraded clutch last night that needs a little attention, but the price was right.
The hybrid goes way further than I ever expected it to. I can't believe the boost he gets out of it an keeps it together.

He told me last night he was going to get on line for an update, but he must have gotten busy.

Yea about 75 ft out of the hole it was running off the governer, It'll have a good clutch, bigger sticks and a bigger charger next season

The hybrid is alright but I've kinda out grown it

7500lbs= 257ft

8300lbs= 269ft

tires

what tires you guys using to pull with, my 91 auto with pump mods managed a 241 in the 6500 stock class the other night, but what ****** me off is my buddies truck whom i didnt do as much to pulled 248!! tires made the difference, he was running some new 265 cooper st's and i was running some all a/t tires i had a good launch, but spun out way to quick.... how much more boost you guys seeing with the 14cm housing?

BFG ats and some yokahama geolander directional tread that are pretty worn.
Tires are needed too, but it keeps him from breaking a bunch of stuff and keeps the clutch happy.

At the last pull mud terrains did a lot better than a/t's, but a/t's have been doing well on other tracks. Every track is different. Tire pressure, weight, hitch height, etc. all play a role in how you hook up also.

He runs a 16cm , and it makes more boost than the head gasket can handle.
