Finaly got my junk on a Dyno

Well, I finaly dynoed today on a dyno that has earned the name Dreamcrusher. I didn't get the numbers I was hoping for but I did find that I have a very flat hp and tq curve from 2200-3700. I'll have the graph up later.

It was a Mustang SE 1750 load style dyno

My numbers were
307.1 672.4 uncorrected
316.5 693 corrected

302.4 668.2 uncorrected
312.3 690.4 corrected

294.8 665.1 uncorrected
304.4 687 corrected

And with all of those fancy mods I'd think you'd at least break the 550HP level!
Well at least you have nearly doubled the hp of the "factory hp" and now know where you stand.
I can only hope to break the 300 mark, if I ever do try the dyno.

Yes big stinky, 5spd and N/IC sticks and a 360,000 mile engine and pump. I was hoping for 350ish but oh well. at least I got a base line.

Even your torque seems low i think the dyno is messed up. not bad though.

i don't think the 93 would break 200 on the dyno but **** it moves

All the trucks seemed lower than they should be. but that the way a Mustang dyno is I guess.

I am running a fair amount of timing also, This was on my pulling setup, and as long as it goes down the track good thats all I care about.

Not too bad of numbers. A good base number to work up from there. Our trucks sound pretty close, but your actually gettin yours to the ground with your manual.

You're getting your power to the ground too, but you'd be putting more to the ground if you had a manual transmission.

Not a bad dyno though for stock injectors, what turbo are you running?

My only dyno with the 92' was straight piped, pump turned up, and 12cm exhaust housing. Even then with a brand new LP I was seeing 0psi after being at WOT for a few seconds. I've sence done a ton of work and mods and as soon as I finnish up the IC install and get the SBDD clutch in I'm going to redyno it. I'm going to be really upset if I dont break 400whp this time.

Looking at that graph you either need more timing or you started starving for fuel in the higher rpm's. There is def some power still there. Judging by the 2100rpm tq peak I'd say more timing and you'll see some higher numbers.

i agree
the dyno i use is a mustang 1500 and ive heard a couple of guys say that they are way low compared to other dynos
like in the 50 hp range but thats on a 500+ 3rd gen
id sure like to find a generous dyno and see what the difference is?
