Finally replace 21cm housing with an 18!!

Well I got a wild hair up my butt tonight and decided it was time to install the 18cm housing that I've had for over a year now. I did it in my driveway with minimal tools. It wasn't all that bad, just took time and I little thinking I went for a drive and it spooled noticeable quicker and produced about 2-3 more lbs/boost-18 peak. I came back and turned the power screw back in about 1 turn(I turned it out a couple months ago for better mileage-I've averaged about 16mpg on the last two tanks) I went back out and woohoo the power was back!! Boost hit 20 almost 21. Here's a video I made with my digital camera tonight. Hopefully you can see the gauges OK.
It's a little big(14 meg) so I'm sorry about those of you who are stuck with dial-up.

I realize now that video sucked for brightness, you can't really see the pyro or boost gauges. I'll have to make another
Oh yeah, after turning the screw back in the idle went up to about 1000. I could back it out to let the idle down but I refuse!! Any tips on how to easily adjust the idle? Kinda tight behind the pump..

Hey, so it was worth it? I am planning to put a 16cm on my 91.5 ramcharger. Takes a lot to get the 21 to spool.

The way I used to adjust my idle was to carefully tap the jam nut loose with a punch, and try to twist the screw with needle nose pliers or with the punch. I now have removed my idle screw and simply adjust the shaft that is between the two bell cranks on the throttle linkage to set my idle. Works great.

Here's another little video I made on the way home tonight. I backed off at about 55. The video stops a split second before I backed off. The more I drive it the more I like it! Even at just part throttle(half throttle or less) it builds around 14-16 lbs. I noticed on this run that it is bumping 21 lbs. I think I'm gonna have to adjust the idle with these suggestions and give her some more fuel tomorrow!! It blows out a gray cloud up till the turbo lights then it clears up, which takes noticeably less time!
