Few little goodies and thoughts
A little while ago I drilled and tapped my pump top so I could eventually put a gauge to read case pressure. Works good. Idle @65ish psi. At rpm @ about 120. Need to bring that up just a touch

Drive pressure gauge stuff under my hood. The gauge was bouncing a lot so I rigged up a needle valve which I think will plug with soot fairly quickly but oh well it works for now. At 10psi boost I'm about 8psi drive. I've confirmed my surging problems. At no point ever does my drive pressure go higher than boost. Yes, you read that right... Now my surging happens when the gap between boost/drive is in the 5psi ball park. If I can ever find the time to put my new head on I'll find out if it helps. It should. Boost should drop from all the porting on the intake and hopefully the turbo turbine will become the restriction on the exhaust side so the turbine will be driven a little harder.
At wot yesterday boost was pushing 46 and drive would only go to 40 or so until I was really high in the rpms (3500+) and then it would rise closer to 42-44
You can see the copper tube coil and the air line going across the cowl. I need to clean it up but I was in a rush to finish it the other day.

Permanently mounted a 100psi oil gauge under the hood.

And last but not least, my now makeshift 5 gauge pillar pod. The top small one is drive pressure. Bigger white face is boost. It was a cheap way to make it work. Why spend $60 on a boost gauge that I don't have room for when I can spend $5 on that little gauge and it does es the same thing and looks fine up there tucked right next to boost. It's not lighted but it doesn't need to be, it isn't an imperative gauge.
