Fender positioning

Fender positioning

Does anyone know if the front fenders sat outside the inner fenders or were inside. I wish I had pics to show what I mean but I don't. Sorry. If anyone else does or knows what I mean it would be great

on my 1990 the tabs on the front fender go behind the inner wheel tub.
In other words the bolt heads make contact with the inner wheel tub.

I think that is what you are asking?

That what I was looking for. Thanks. I think I'll leave the tabs of my fender outside the inner fender. Or bolts making contact with the fender tabs
