Favorite 1st Gen Truck Color
alright, I dont think there are any U-G-L-Y two tones, I bet if you separated the gold from the green with a dark lime stripe it would change the whole appearance. and the same with Blue/ gold needing a bright Medium blue . I went through this for years with the mid 80's Chevys i used to do having ugly tu-tones and i used to change the stripe colors for a better look. now THEY had ugly tu-tones that flat tan(non metallic)and white. Also the factory wheel/hubcap set up on the Dodges doesn't do anything for these trucks. even a set of cheap chrome wheels would make a HUGE difference.
I'm not really into brushed aluminum either but thats what is going on my truck for starters. I picked up TWO sets of these in 16x7.5 size for $300 and with some serious cleaning they look pretty decent. 8 lug stuff is not easy to find. crossy

I got to tell you guys , that the first truck in this tread page one , was at one time a two wheel drive truck ! the guy that build it inspired me to build my truck ! that is a very nice truck !! want to see mine ? somebody postem for me ? thanks
I'll pm you with my email. You can then email me the pic and I'll place them on my index page where you can use the url to create your image here on this thread. I would like to see your truck if it was motivated by that first truck.
Nice choices of color, would like to see the details. Good job!
loco one - that is weird. Looks like we have the same 2 tone colors, but they are reversed on our trucks? There is a guy around town with a truck just like mine but a std cab. Same paint, but the 2 tone is reversed. Dodge is crazy .
EDIT: Nice ride!
