hey guys i just yanked a cummins 5.9 out of an f800 the motor got scortched, the exhaust manifold is white and the head is white where the exhaust port come out, and the gaskets are all wheeping as well as the motor will not roll over i took a breaker bar on it and kept jerking it back and fourth and nothing, i took the steering pump out and looked in the gear case and no teeth or carnage layin in there, but anyway the customer who owns the moving truck/ junk yard, said if i wanted to we could trade my leighbour to remove the motor and trans and re install for the p7100 pump, and anything i need to make it work. now my question is will the injectors in my 93 work with the p7100? is this trade worth it?

 

It sounds like it melted more than one piston. I would try to get the whole engine since it sounds like the engine is beyond repair. You wouldn't happen to have pics of the manifold and stuff that got really hot would you?

 

well i dont know if i can pack the motor around to long, i am in the middle of lookin for work and prepared to move just wanted what i could use. no pictures yet, but i will grab some next weekend!

 

injector bodies are different but get all the rest and the p-pump innjectors and put your nozzles on the bodies if you want. take all the conversion parts. i can list if you need me too.

 

the pump will bolt up to the existing gear case?

 

no, you need gear housing, cover, lines, brackets, oil feed lines for pump, lift pump and lines. afc tube etc.
