Experimented with the new camera
Hey Andrew,
I have a question for you since i was bored. I have your pic on my desktop at work and before we get out of the shop i always look at it lol while my boss rambles on.
Here is my question ready....How did you get out of the truck no footprints?? Lol did you fly?
Anyways your truck is sweet i am still looking to get some 3rd gen wheels this summer. If you dont mind me asking what did you pay for yours? If you dont want to answer thats cool. Thanks.

Which pic is your desktop? Anyway I am honored to have someone else have my old junk as there desktop
. Heck, I've never even had my truck as my desktop, it usually one of my old tractors.
Anyway, I usually walk strait out and when taking pics I walk in a big circle around the truck so i don't make visible footprints. its all in the details and little things.
After spacers for the front, some used rubber and the wheels I got about 700 into the whole mess for the 3rdgens. I'm not using spacers in the rear cause the D80 is the correct width for the 3rdgens.

Y'know Andrew, that truck of yours is a thing of beauty.
There's a couple of pics there where the stance is just awesome. Great photo's, and great scenery! Between you and Richie-O, it looks like the scenery and 3rd gen wheel categories are all sown up!

Larry, Still working on getting better low light shots, think I'm gonna have to get a tripod though. I'm actually gonna be kinda sad to see the multi color go but the new cab is up at the local paint guys shop, It will have a fresh coat of Black before it goes on I might end up using a different box too and maybe a different set of doors and fenders also just so there is less time and money in body work and prep. The gold will go on after the truck is back together.
KD93, I try to get a good stance and background as it makes all the difference in the world I also try to shoot low angles too, makes the pics come out a lot better.
FWIW I did submit a few of these to Diesel Power and got an E mail today saying they'll probly use it in readers rides in the spring or summer
. I guess we'll see. It would be kinda cool to see my old junk in a magazine.
