Exhaust videos

I thought it would be awesome if we could get some video clips of our first gen exhausts on there, feel free to add to this thread! I plan on replacing mine eventually, so this would be a great reference tool for everyone too!

Yeah I probably should have! I don't usually do that, but I wasn't aware she was that cold. ( It was 70 degrees out!) After revving it once, I had a " what the heck moment".

Haha, 70 degrees classifies as a cold start?????

Thats pretty warm up here.

In my mind a cold start would be more like 45F or better yet i can get some for you at -30F later this year.

My cold start is more like 20f or colder. Even without grid heaters starts fine then to, as long as I don't have one of those dang optima red tops under the hood. Those don't like my truck in winter not enough cold crank amps. As far as warm up I usually just give a minute to let the fluids circulate then go.

no, not really. i have all the smoke screws and starwheel backed out. But at that elevation its almost impossible to keep it from smoking. down at sea level it doesnt smoke at all. When i get rid of this baby H1C, it will be even better.

Ah ic, i never thought of elevation. The 351cw is a good turbo upgrade but you lose some of the throatiness of the exhaust with it.

im doing a s300. The non/ic injectors should work well with it. Cant wait to get the turbo. The baby H1C that i have sucks on the freeway. Hangs out at like 900. A 6 spd and a new turbo should fix that

It had been cold that night, I don't think I cycled the grid heaters tho. That may have been why. This winter I can get some real cold start videos. Anyways, do you like the 4' straight-pipe you have on your truck firstgen? I had a straight-pipe, but the VA state police didn't care for it.

My straight 4" exhaust with a 16cm housing. Its on my RC and comes out behind the P-side door. Its my radio. With 3.07 axles it purrs at 1700rpms doing 70mph. Love it Sorry for the poor quality, my cell is not the greatest

I was pulling a hill, and came to a road check. Thought about pulling a quick U turn, but but the VSP always have a trooper sitting beside the road in a car to go after people who do. Luckily I talked my way out of it and put the exhaust on that I still have. It was the loudest one I could get at the time in short notice lol

Here's a ride along video from the same day. Unfortunately, my truck is an automatic. If the old transmission ever goes, I want to try and put a 6 speed manual in it.
