I've got the 92 D250 with the 5 speed. So the 60mm is where I need to be looking? My buddy wants to sell me a 64mm but I don't know if that's the way to go on an all stock set up. Mind you I WILL be going with the 4'' turbo back exhaust come January to Febuary time. These cold air intake kits are Pretty expensive. I'm thinking I'll just make one out of PVC and call it good. Where's the best mounting location for the filter? Everything I'm seeing puts it almost in the stock location.

Stock location is fine. in the front corner of the fender. That's the only place it will get cold air.

60mm is a nice upgrade for a stock fueled truck but it'll still spool slow which 92's are bad for due to the 21cm housing

Ok. I'll try to get it off him. What's a good price for a 64mm turbo?

The exhaust housing is measured in CM^2

the 64mm doesn't mean any thing if you don't know the rest of the specs? 64mm on the comp. side is big for a 1st gen and the exhaust depending on if it's a 65 or 71 is a big deal...also what flange type , how do you know it'll even bolt up to a cummins? cummins take T3 flanges

what is this 64mm turbo?

It's a gamble it's a 50/50 chance in 92 since cummins got complaints about it and had to get rid of it.
