Yes, on/off, on/off, on, all within 5 seconds.... and wait. You get X flash(s)..pause...X flash(s)... pause etc.<br>If you count 3..pause...4, that's 34 the last will be 55 meaning end of codes.<br><br>Bob.

Ok gang, I think I've got this mess figured out now : maybe.... It seems that my TPS sensor plug is haywire. Each time the O/D stops working all I do is find a place to pull over, wiggle the wires a bit and it works good as new for another 50 or so miles until I have to repeat the process over > Went to the ******* in the city yesterday and of course they didn't have such a plug! Oh well, at least the problem seems to be isolated now. THanks for all your help guys

Start by cleaning both ends of the plug out with electrical contact cleaner, then a good dose of dielectric grease. See if that helps your problem. You can also use a small 'zapstrap' to pull the plug together tight, and hold it there. If that don't work you can get a replacement plug at any good automotive or marine electric store I would think..<br><br>Bob.
