Engine ?'s
Ive been browsing the site and it seems that maybe the piston pump might be the way to go but nobody giving any answers is the piston pump easy per say to swap or is the electric a good way to go
I am also thinking of installing a piston lift pump and I read through the sticky and it seems pretty strait forward to me. Here is the link to the sticky https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...ad.php?t=93722
Read it over and decide for yourself but to me it sound fairly easy.

Hardest part of the piston lift pump is clearancing the tappet cover for the new fuel line.
Easy as pie fellas. Easy as pie.
Now... those electric doo-dads. I havent heard ONE brand that has had good luck pumping diesel endlessly. They are problematic at BEST. IMHO stick with the mechanical pump. If you still need more fuel, you can put the high pressure/volume pump on and run a bypass regulator.
For now though... the 15 psi piston pump will work wonders.
