Engine oil temp sender.

Where is the best place to put an engine oil temp sender. Seem that if it could be put in the line where the oil drains from the turbo it would give you the highest temps. Is it possible to do that? Thanks

Our engines have an oil cooler, so oil temp runs pretty close to coolant temp. It's not really necessary to monitor it. If you are just the curious sort, go right ahead. The sender should go in the pan, you don't want any restriction in the turbo drain.

It would be more interesting (and useful) in the Getrag.
