Electrical issue?

I have a 91 non-intercooled dually, twice in the last two days truck has lost power ,died while driving, 1st time hit bump it died then started running again before I could get off road. Drove on without any more problems. Second time pulled over fiddled with wiring on left inner fender it restarted , drove it home. Seems to me something is loose, hadn't figured out what yet. Any ideas? Thanks

Check the terminal at the shutdown solenoid. It's known to work itself loose at times, thus, shutting down the motor. As for the 2nd time and messing with some wiring on the fender, I can't say for sure what that might be. Maybe some fusible links that power the shutdown solenoid? I'm not positive. Was it just the motor that lost power or did you lose all electrical to the rest of the truck?

When it died the 2nd time I turned the key and nothing happened, like no power to starter. When I got out dome light and buzzer were working. Not really sure myself if messing with wiringdid anything or not. Wondering if ignition switch might be problem. Thanks
