dyno testing results

Today i had a chance to dyno both my trucks, and test some parts to see the gains. this was all on the same dyno (dynojet) the same day today (1/17/2009)
first we dyno'd the blue truck, only modification is 4 inch strait pipe
it made a wopping

stock 75 pin
73HP/140TQ
then i installed a custom fuel pin, (we accually tested 5 custom pins with different profiles) and made:

M3 fuel pin
187HP/524TQ
all of the custom fuel pins were really close to the same power.

THEN,
we put my white truck on the dyno.

stock 75 pin with KSB on
303HP/747TQ

M2 fuel pin with ksb off
315HP/806TQ

those are some nice gains with just a fuel pin on a stock truck.
videos to come...
also think of what would have happend with my w/m on?? maybe with some nitro mix.

All numbers look good except the stock #s 73/140 sounds way off. I've seen a lot of stock 1st Gens run but never with those readings. They usually run 145+ RWHP and 395+ RWTQ. Why so low?

Wait so on the blue truck,

73 horsepower (rwhp)
and 140 ft lb tq (rwtq)

You may wanna redo that run ^^^

and after the pin-

187 Horsepower (rwhp)
524 ft lb tq (rwtq)

You gained over 100 Horsepower and 400 foot pounds of torque with a fuel pin?

thats what the numbers say, remember big exhaust housing and not enough fuel make low numbers, that power listed was done at 76mph, the highest power of all 3 pulls with the stock pin and shaved washer.
all of the M pins put down better power at lower mph.
i doubt if i took another stock truck to a dyno it would see the same gains.
the guy running the dyno did not say there was anything wrong with the dyno and the people watching didn't seem to think there was any thing wrong eaither.
