Dyno Question

Should it be in Overdrive or not? I may go and make a pass or two on a "Mustang Dynometer" today...I have a full DTT setup... let me know what ya think.

Well for what it's worth.... it was an even 300 and 661 torque.....Oh Well...They had ME drive? I shifted into overdrive at about 45 and took it up to about 90 or so..not even sure if I put it all the way to the floor..I was kinda taken by surprize when the load was applied to the rollers....WINSPEEDS truck was there and put down a 670 or something like that...I'm pretty sure he pulled in 3rd gear..his truck is BADAZZZZ....

Was on the rollers for the first time, last Sat. It was a Mustang dyno, also. He had us running with O/D off, with exception for doing the parasitic load test, and the 1/4 mile runs.

It was at Roger Vogt's Performance and Air, down in Visalia. Adam and I showed up a little late(we worked on his truck late last night). Roger and crew put on a good show, but they did have a problem with the dyno. They couldn't get it to put a load on the trucks so the turbos wouldn't spool up all the way. We missed a 12v dually that put down 540hp, but Adam did put down 662 hp even though his boost was 10 lbs lower than normal. They tried to get the dyno to put a load on for a second run, but it just didn't want to cooperate.

Do your run in 3rd gear... that is one - one on the auto's and that is were the "more accurate/realistic" will be achieved.
