Dually bed vs reg bed
We had a 1990 dually years ago, and It looked like they just used the standard bed and installed the fiberglass fender extensions for the duals, does anyone know/have done dual wheel with a standard bed? I want to do it just like factory.
Thanks

I currently have my dually fenders off for painting. There are two rows of bolts to hold them on. I think the dually bed needs to have the lips in the sheet metal for the clip-nuts.
Unfortunately it's in KS and I'm in CA right now so I can't go look for you.

NO.
My truck got broke in in south Texas so there's almost no rust. It was an idiot who thought he knew how to spray paint that's the cause of the re-paint job. I also prefer white.
But there is a lot of work to sand/strip things down. The hood I had to strip because the clearcoat wasn't even cured properly and was like real thick honey. It would just clog up the sandpaper after about 30 seconds. I'll probably need to strip the fenders/doors and the rest of the body.
I also need to move it indoors since it gets mighty hot out in the sun and the work is going a lot slower that I anticipated.
