are the dually bed different ?

are the dually bed different ?

I'm not real familiar with these year dually beds. Are they different in the wheel arches than the NON-dually. it looks like the fenders just pinch on in the wheel well? are there holes in the bedside? I need a standard 8" bed, thanx.

not familiar w/ 1st gen dually beds but, usually dually bed have the fender cut out some and there are holes for the cleance light wires.

The outer skin of first gen dually box is different than a std box (The wheel arch is larger). Unfortunatly on a Dodge the box sides are welded on so not an easy convert.

yep, found out both of those things since i posted the question. I was lucky enough, for once, to find a nice standard bed locally.Still waiting for the truck to be delivered to make sure there are no title issues yet, other than the one i KNOW about, . thanx, guys. DAVE
