I'm having an issue where, when I open the driver's door the dome light does not come on. The headlight switch, and the passenger door activates it just fine.

My first thought was that the switch is bad, but if I leave the key in the ignition and open the driver's door, the buzzer sounds.

Am I missing something here?

 

I have the same problem, just on the pass door instead of the drivers. I haven't tried to diagnose the prob yet but I will try the door switch first and see if thats still working. Seems like that it would be simple to chase down but everythings hard to get to.

 

its your door switch try and tighten it or twist the pin back and forth to clear some corrosion
