Not bad but sagging nonetheless and time for a new door hinge pin/bolt. Considering it's probably been opened/closed 3 times a day on average since being new, I'm not complaining either. Besides finding these things, any tricks for replacing these?? The one that's worn is the drivers side LOWER pin as you can see it moves when gently lifting the door by hand and is needing to be replaced. It doesn't look like a big job but one thing I've learned about working on my truck is that things SELDOM go as planned or look as easy as they do right at first. You guys think this would be a Dodge dealer part?? Anyways, as usual, thanks for your help!! Chuck
One thing to check is where bottum hinge attaches to door, they have a habit of getting metal fatigue, right at the back edge of the hinge. open your door and carfully watch the hinge and that area where it attaches to door, and if you see that it is broken or flexinf you can weld a plate in there to reinforce it. Had to do that to mine, 1992 club cab LE.
Good luck

I think I've replaced my drivers door hinge twice now using OEM replacement hinges. If memory serves me correctly, Dodge is kinda proud of them ($).
I want to say Advance Auto or the likes may now have a pin/bushing kit to rebuild our hinges for much less money. It may not be labled for such, but there's a kit out there that will fit.

I got a kit from last year from NAPA ,it was like $6 for pins and bushings for the lower hinge and a couple hours to rebuild and realine the doors. do all 4 while the doors is off.
Yep, the Help! section at Advance is where I got my pin and bushing kit. I just replaced the lower, the upper was still in good shape. It's nice to have a helper to support the door while you have the pin out.

I replaced mine recently as well, I got my pins/bushings at napa. One package does the upper and lower for one door. I found it easiest to drive the bottom pin out, and take the bolts out of the door at the top hinge (mark around the hinge at the top to help with realignment). If you remove the door from the truck, you can take it off by yourself but reinstalling it requires some help.

yes terry was going to build a run of these super hinges but he cancelled due to lack of interest... he needs to run a minimum of 100 sets to get a vendor to go through with production... there are a lot of trucks out ther that need these hinges...

same problem here. I bought some new hinges from NewMoparParts.com They were about $30 a peice. I wonder if there is a way to modify them to get them beefed up.
