I finally finished the drivers side door with a new striker from autozone. THe truck's door closes like brand new. No slamming. No clunk. No effort to close.

Like you said, it took a few tries to align the door striker bolt with the latch, but it was worth ever minute. I ordered another striker bolt from Ebay and I already realigned the other side.

Feels like a different (NEW) truck.
