Dodge and Cummins
Ford would not have invested heavily in an all new diesel for 2011 if the plan was just to switch to Cummins power. Cummins has a contract with Dodge for light duty trucks, but medium duty trucks such as a Ford F650/750 can be powered by CAT or Cummins.
If you live in South America, you can have a Cummins powered Ford; http://www.ford.com.br/showroom.asp?...o=2&interna=28

As for Cat getting out of the OTR market ... they just released a new OTR truck themselves. See it here - http://www.cat.com/on-highway-transportation
