When I worked in a fuel inj shop we always set the fuel on the high side of the spec. and I think most shops do also so yes they would run better. Ken

When I replaced mine, I had a definite increase in power, but the instructions that came with it said to push it all the way to the head, so I don't know which one or both did it...Mark

I mainly noticed less noise and my oil pressure was much better when the truck is hot. hard to compare power and performance as my pump was never tampered with when i brought it in and got back a fresh unit with a timing bump and a couple turns on the fuel.

I'd say it depends, on if the "rebuilt" pump was just re-sealed, or if it got a reman head/rotor assembly.
