Do I "Need" injectors?

Just did 4" exhaust and EGT's dropped 150+ I went to turn the fuel screw, but it wouldn't go in so, I pulled it out and could see the threads were bottoming against the shoulder next to the O-ring Is this all the fuel I can get with stock injectors?
Is there anything else I can do for more fuel before going to EDM's or POD's?
See sig for other mods.
Thanks Phil

Your fuel screw should have a jam nut on it. If your fuel screw has another collar on it that the jam nut is backed into then you need to cut the the collar off. This will allow you to turn the fuel screw in farther.
Each time you turn your fuel screw in, you will have to turn your idle down. When you get to where your idle screw wont turn your idle down anymore than you have gone to your limit. That is all the fuel you can put to it with out extreme modifiations.
Installing High output nozzles is the most noticable increase in power you will get.
I installed PODs. I got lots of power but a fair amount of smoke. I am tempted to try EDMs. The PODs were about half the price of EDMs.
Good luck in your BOMBing adventures.

The lock collar is gone and idle is @ 850-900. I just thought I could go further w/ the screw Ilike the EDM's too, but $900 vs. $440 for POD's makes me think POD's are in my future. How much should I back out my fuel screw to start if I do put POD's in
If you want to sell your POD's when you get EDM's let me know

Something to think about would be an Old Smokey fuel pin. Really kicks it up and easy to install.
