different rear end?
hey-Hey!!!,
It is possible. Some cutting/welding is required( so I have read ). Spring perches need to move and you'll need shock mounts if the axle tube diameter is different from the D70( as you won't be able to use the ones from the D70 OE install ). You should also need a disc/disc master cylinder as the disc needs a bit more volume of brake fluid delivery v. the drums. ALso, if the axle center line to u-joint yoke length is different you'll be into some driveshaft shortening. All Diesel should run the type 1410 joints( at least; that is what they came with in rear axles ).
cheers,
Douglas
