All about Powerjokes, huh?..... I guess you missed their 11 second 3rd gen Project X or the 2nd gen dually project. One stage of the later project was about what kind of economy they could get out of it and they got about 30mpg out of it by taping up stuff, disconnecting the fan, folding back the mirrors, and driving with an egg underfoot at 60 mph!

I always thought they did a pretty good job of having a good balance of the big 3.

Diesel Builder is the one that is dominated by "Fix or Repair Dailys". I agree, I think Diesel Power Magazine has a good balance of all three and it's definately the biggest going diesel magazine at this time. That is an awesome truck btw.

Go to 1stgen.org. Theres a writer for DP on there, and he is doing a 1st gen build using our advice.

Yup, its a sharp lookin rig! And it is great that DP now has a 2wd 1st gen as a project vehicle! I also noticed a writeup about the Rapid Diesel Service open house. It is kind of cool to see a local shop in a magazine! Maybe I should renew my subscription..........

It's made by MR. GRILLE, the one on that truck was the prototype 1st gen grille...I e mailed the guy that makes them a while ago and they were supposed to be available last month, not sure if he's selling them yet or not, they're not listed on the site yet...maybe if we show enough interest we could get a group buy going on them.
