I just did the mod Bill and i used the ones Jim Lane did in the sticky, and holy crap it's bright. Get some shiny HVAC tape and do the inside of the housing with it.

Here's mine. I did almost every square inch of the inside of the housing i could, even did the back of the black surround which took forever, then I polished the lens with plastic cleaner and hit it with some Meguiars Swirl-X in a radial motion


They look pink in the pic but they're a very bright red, very bright lol.

So bright the camera makes them look goofy LOL.....there are no hot spots or anything.
I highly recommend the White face gauge kit! However, if you have a 90-92 truck use the speedometer that says "gasoline truck" and if you have a 93 with the close together odometer numbers use the one that says "Diesel truck"
