D250 Brakes

So I have been reading articles on here and on a few other sites and have not recieved a really definate answer on to what brakes my 91.5 D250 has. I have been hearing many things and I really want to accomplish this task as I can feel that the rotors are warped.

I am trying to find the parts numbers that I can get from my local parts store or specs on the parts I am trying to find. I have called around to a few of the stores and they all have same answer take them off and bring them in for a comparison. Is there any way I can avoid this process?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Fronts or rears?

Fronts are discs.

Rears are drums. You'll most likely have 2.5" wide shoes. If you're changing the rears, upgrade to the 3" shoes. Just get the shoes for a D350. It's that easy.

Also, the upgrade to the larger rear cylinder is nice as well. It's all in this sticky, part number, etc.:

The drums are the same.

Front Napa Part Numbers:

Rotor: 4886025
Pads: lots of different choices for quality. Here's the severe duty: UP SD7019M. All the brake pad numbers had 7019 in them.

Grabby rear drums will give you pedal pulse also. Make sure your not leaking brake fluid or axle fluid on the rear shoes.

I will do that, thanks for info! I am thinking I will use the rear brake bleeding procedure on the STICKy post and see if that helps before I decide to go knee deep in this and start replaing all kinds of stuff. I know that there is no fluid leaking on the pads unless it is leaking internally and never seeping outside.

Does anybody know if our wheel studs are swedged on or not?
