Yep. The only things I changed were the shoes and cylinders.

If you don't have one already, this is a huge help with the hold down springs:

This is a big help with the other springs - much easier than trying to use a pair of pliers:

Thanks Dan! None of the local parts stores had that tool, so I made a lousy substitute. It got the job done (barely), but now I'm gettin' the real thing!

The napa part numbers I found on an old thread here are as follows.

wheel cylinders 4636057 and 4636058
shoes TS-358

You might want to double check the shoes. I had a friend install mine and he said that they were the same size as the ones I already had. So either I already had the 3 inch shoes or it could be the wrong part number that someone posted. I wish my friend would have called me to come look at them before he put them on so I would know for sure.

Question Reviving an Oldy-But-Goody

I'm fixing to work on the brakes this weekend and checking availability, my partsman says there's three different rear wheel cylinders listed . . . . as you most likely know. He quoted numbers such as the smallest might have been 5/8" bore, a middle size, and the largest was 1 1/8" bore. (I'm working from a cloudy memory).

At the time, I'd not checked "The Sticky".

Anyhoot, I suppose I can ask him to use/cross the numbers found in this thread.

Does anybody know what the OEM rear wheel cylinder bore is, and what the upgraded bore is?

As it stands, I can't find a reference just yet in the FSM, and I've not torn down the truck to confirm what's there ('93 CC W250) . . . .

Can anyone sum up the latest part numbers and bores?

1" (Bendix 3304 & 3305) on 2.5" brakes and 1 1/8" (33206 & 33207) on 3" brakes. I find that the 3" brakes and 1 1/8" cylinders are very effective on my truck.
