D-Tech

Anybody running ne of these turbo? They have a good price on them but ive only seen that they make 62/65/12 and 64/65/12. I was thinking about getting a 64/65/12 but wanted the 71 exhaust wheel and 14 hotside. Is there any problems with the 65mm wheel on a 64? Hope thats not confusing?

You would think that the 64mm compressor wheel would almost override the 65mmexhaust wheel? Does that make sense or am i just thinking the wrong way? I guess you could pick a 62 up for $920. I wanted a bigger housing and exhaust wheel but if everybody thinks it would do ok then id prolly get the 64 for growing room.

Are these D-Tech turbos authentic Schwitzer S300's? They seem legit, it's just that the price seems almost to good to be true. Everyone else is selling the same turbo for hundreds more.

That's a pretty good deal then. I wonder how they perform, and how well they are holding up.

I don't think thats the right turbo for a 1st gen, it has a 64mm compressor and a small exhaust.

I don't know much but i've hear bgilbert say that the ult. turbo for a first gen is a 62/71/14 or a 62/65/14

He told me not to waste my money with a 62/65/14. He said just spend the extra money and go with the 62/71/14.

The more hot air that gets out the exhaust, the better

*sigh* why would you go p-pumped?

It seems noone has this turbo so why don't you try it? its basicly an hx40 with a 4mm bigger compressor wheels and a smaller exh. housing. a 64/65 just seems weird

P pump bcz i want room to grow, parts are easier to find. Im not jumping on it because i dont have a grand to blow to find out that it wasnt worth it thats why i ask questions so i do it right the first time and get something that i can use.
