Well, I'm in the middle of making mud flaps for the truck to pertect my pretty paint!! And I almost want to throw in the towl... Here is what I have so far for the back.. Let me know what you guys think.. I had to stop and have a drink..to relax.. Not liking drilling all these holes!! take into consideration, I live in Mi and on a dirt road, thats why I'm putting these ugly things on!!

Looks like they should work good. My tires seem to load up with rocks real good whenever I drive on gravel, and then fly loose as soon as I hit 50mph taking lots of paint with them.
Don't forget the front.

I hear ya. PA roads are just as bad, with all the rock salt and cinders Penn DOT uses, theycan ruin a good paint job in one trip down a two lane around here. I made similar flaps for my rig, but I was thinking of using roll on bed liner in the wheel wells, what you're doing should keep most of the nasties off your paint. Maybe...

Man if that was my truck and i lived in Michigan i would park it for the winter I know that might not be possible for you. I grew up in Illinois and you have the same problem i had SALT!!! Your rig looks good! Did you consider the aluminum diamond plate flaps? They are a little stiffer and i believe you can get them already cut to shape. Just a thought....Good Luck Augie
