Has anyone here restored that part of the emblem back to a richer shade of red? What did you use?

You know me brandon, I like to keep the looks OEM (except the stripe, haha). I want to keep it red.

Do you have a closeup of your emblem? I'd like to see how it came out for you.

Yeah i did the same to mine, just cleaned them good and got a red paint marker and went over the letters, it looked a lot better than it did. Can you still buy these emblems from dodge? or are they way pricey?

I know of a place where you can get some nice used ones, but they want $75 shipped for the pair. I was considering debadging my truck with a set of gasser emblems, but they were $55 shipped, and there would be a weird unpainted spot where the "cummins turbo diesel" part of the emblem used to be. So, I decided to stick with what I got and make it a little cleaner.

hmmm... $3 for a paint marker sounds like a better deal to me, plus they're original

Thats too much money for me. I found a guy online who sells old Dodge NIB and junk parts and he had a pair for 55 shipped that looked good. He also had a pair of gasser W250 (No line that says CTD obviously) that I really wanted. But I was afraid there would be a weird looking spot underneath where it hadnt been repainted.

Anyways, here is a pic of the refurbishment.
