we have a rear speed sensor......Ya i no u now! but it's got to be the tranny or t-case(4wd) speedo generator or a broken wire between there and the speedo!.....Maybe a fuse?

If it has the gear reducer, that could be bad or the shaft striped or broker!

You might want to crawl under there and take a look, mine fell out the other day on the way to Atlanta and it was still hanging from the wires and stuck on the cross member. A lot of other people have said the same thing has happened to them.

Someone point out to me where this sensor is? I thought CC issues were related to switches, servo, lack of vac, brake switch, #1 2 amp fuse or a combo of all these. I never knew about a sensor by the tranny! I, too, am trying to find out about my lost CC! Please direct!

If your speedo is working then its not the problem.....as long as the speedo works smooth!

the speedo, generator, is located on the drivers side of the tranny, tail shaft (2 wd) or at the back of the t-case (4 wd)

there could, also be gear reducer that's bolted on to it and if it's there should be investigated while you there!
You will recognize the the sensor cause it will have to 2 wires cumming out of it!
