Crossover steering impressions

You need, minumum 2.5" drop hangers and 4'" lift springs to do what your taling about to clear. I have that setup on my wheeling truck and it works great. tried to do it on my 92 with the 2.5" drop hangers and 2.5" springs. cleared but if I would jit a bump it would hit while turning. so you would need the 4" arched springs at the least.

^^ Me too. I'd say I spent about half of the price of buying a "kit", but you have to factor your labor also. I'd say it comes out a wash in the end! If I had to do it all over again, I think I would still build it. Maybe heims this time?
