crank shaft sensor question.???

Question crank shaft sensor question.???
If i were to remove the crankshaft sensor to sell it with the tach, would it affect anything else???? it plugs in right behind the fan on the block. i was going to unbolt it down near the pulley and unplug it and sell it with the tach on ebay. thanks in advance

PCM wouldn't see the engine cranking or running so... no start, no charge, no run.
