Crank sensor gap?

Can someone tell me if there is an air gap setting for the crank sensor on a 93 and also what the torque specs are for the crank pulley bolts? I have a factory manual on CD but I can't get it to work. I knew this would happen sooner or later, so much for technology.I sure like the hard copies better!

I believe the gap for the crank sensor is 0.050 in. and according to my FSM the vibration dampener bolt torque is 92 ft. lbs.

Make sure you set the gap with a brass feeler (or a matchbook cover).

Thanks for the answers. Will steel feeler gauges affect the crank sensor? I finally got my cd manual working and found the torqe spec on the crank pulley but still haven't found the crank sensor gap, where is this located? Seems this 1st G forum is a little more friendly when questions are asked. When posting questions about my truck on the 3G forum some seem to think that you're trying to pick the trucks apart, maybe I should sell it and try to find a 1st G!I truly beleive they were built better.

Steel feeler will mess up the sensor supposedly. The gap should be set between the sensor and the crank damper, make sure you are well away from a notch because the damper kinda tapers into them.

In my printed version the 'engine speed sensor' info is in the fuel system section
(section 14 pg.109) and yes steel feelers will affect the sensor - it's magnetic, like the electronic ignition on the older gassers

Boy Wanna you can type way faster than I can
