Cowl or hood scoop induction????

Cowl or hood scoop induction????
Has anyone rigged up a cold air intake to a hood scoop? Looks like there would be room under the hood and should provide a better supply of cold air than sucking it in thru the little hole in the core support that the factory supplies. Just some idle thinkin while waiting for front end parts to arive.Thanks
