I've been looking at buying a cowl induction hood for my truck. Does anybody have one? Where did you buy it? It is steel or fiberglass? Are you happy with the fit?

I'm trying to decide whether to buy a cowl hood or an SRT-10 hood. I think I'll go with the cowl hood just so I don't look more like a rumblebee than I already do.

Have you seen the Shaker hoods that are available? I have only seen pics from advertisers in a magazine, but it looks sweet! They are proud of it though, 900 bucks worth, plus another 200 for the hook up to make it functional.

No. I haven't seen the shaker hoods. That would look sweet on my truck. Will it work with a cummins or just a gasser? PM me and let me know where you saw these. Thanks.

There's a dealer here in Woodbridge, Va that customizes a lot of 1500s. They use a hood that is similar the the ram air hood on the last years of the Trans Ams. It looks pretty cool but the rest of the truck just looks like something you would see south of the border......

I would love to have that shaker but I would have to modify the shaker portion of it to make it fit on a cummins.
