cowl cracks ,how bad a problem is this?????

cowl cracks ,how bad a problem is this?????

i can see the cracks behind my door ,,is this a real bad problem if unattended,,,,,ive read about getting patch panels but it didnt mention much on what it hurts ,,thanks for any help,,,,

it causes a a noise and a water leak
most all 1st gens get them
I pulled the fenders and welded them shut and reinforced them

I have 2 trucks with them and it bugs the $%^& out of me. The leaks and the noise.

That's what I did on my 93 as well. Made a heck of a snapping noise, thought the windshield was cracking the first time I heard it!
