CNC'd grid heater delete riser

Got bored today and whipped out one of these to get rid of the grid heater. Im rewiring the Dodge anyways and the wires are just tucked away.......now they are gone!

1stgen545 hooked me up a stock one that was similar that came on idustrial applications. They are hard to find (Ive lost the one he gave me) so heres the replacement. Bout 15 minutes to program and 10 to run.......

It should be one more step in the direction of better airflow

Yeah they are "buy-able" but not find-able as in strollin' through a junkyard. Im not into buying much if I can help it.

I modeled one today with a boss in the side of it to house a port for whatever (W/M, Nitrous) but didnt want to jack with setting it up at an angle to machine it and tap the hole............I got lazy....

no doubt, i m with you on that. not many have access to a CNC machine.

i refused to pay $30 bucks for a steering wheel gauge mount. so i made one, not for the steering wheel but it works.

you did a good job on it.

Looks good, I wonder if anybody could run a cfm flow test to see exactly what type of flow improvements are had... My father in law has a flow bench, I wonder if I could rig up something to test it...

There are aftermarket grid heater delete spacers available, Ebay is a good place to look.

Your mule needs to slow down and let mine catch up Guys you might can buy something for a first gen, but when DennyT makes something for your truck you won't be able to find it's equal anywhere. I have ridden in several before and after trucks the difference is night and day every time. He has two fuel pins put back for me when I get my swaps done, one pin in a truck I am buying, and he has my order for two of the grid heater deletes
