clutch pedal pressure?
clutch pedal pressure?
Hey guys, I've never posted here until now. I have been reading this forum for awhile now and have absorbed alot of great info. You guys know what you're doing, unlike the local diesel "you can't do that
" shops. I can usually answer any question I have by doing a search, until now.
This may seem picky but when I am parked uphill my cluth pedal pressure is almost gone, acts like there is air in the system. There is just enough pressure left to get into gear and go. When the truck is level it feels fine. The fluid level never goes down. I have bled the clutch system twice but it's always the same. I don't want to start replacing components as it works fine any other time. Has anybody else exprienced this? Is there a solution besides not parking uphill? It's starting to get annoying.

Do you mean the pressure required to push the pedal down is less facing uphill than on level ground?? Highly unusual, seems like air would cause the same feel up or down, actually I can't think of anything that would cause that.
