Clutch hydraulic line

Hi All,
I sprung a leak in the hydraulic line at the slave cylinder. I also found another spot that was leaking. Do I have to replace the whole system, the master and slave cylinder, or can I just get the line somewhere? I find in the manual that it is a total system and it is $300.00.
Thanks,
Mike

local o-reilly here makes hydraulic hoses, if you can tell them the correct ends they should be able to make something. I may be upgrading mine in the near future, if the new stuff has a new hose i'd be glad to send the only one on to you. my master and/or slave are too weak for my clutch.

I think you ought to replace the whole thing. I know it's expensive, but it's worth the hassle.

Hi All,
Thanks for the replies. I'll order one from Dodge and replace the whole thing. I thought about getting some stainless line and using low amp tig to weld the ends on, but I don't think there would be enough flex.
I guess after so many miles it's just time to R&R a few things.
Thanks again,
Mike

Do they sell the line separate? My Master/Slave cyls are almost new, but the line needs replaced an my 93. I don't even want to ask the friend who was using it what happened. He has offered to pay for it.

HI virgil,
I could not find a new line. I ended up having to buy the whole mess from the dealer for $386.00. I am going to try to find out what master/slave cylinder combos people are using with the heavy duty clutches. I am also going to try to make up a stainless line using my old cylinders. I won't pay that much for such a cheaply built system again.
