clunking noise @ rear of truck?

clunking noise @ rear of truck?
I have this wierd noise coming from the rear of my truck . I've changed fuild in diff noticed some metal bits at the bottom of the rearend. seams to me too be coming from the middle of the truck in the back?? I'm going to look at it closer in the morning.... john
