Clunk When Decelerating...Fixed!
Pulled the old getrag apart this weekend and found the contershaft had about 1/4 of endplay. The countershaft bearings were junk. It was just a few miles from major disaster. Re-bearing and Re-shimmed it all put it back together and now the clunk is gone. Trans is much quieter too!
not sure if this is the same thing but when im on it then let off in high rpms (all stock though) the truck will lurch forward, this is normal right by the way its a 4x4, ohh and what do you run for fluid 5-30 synthetic and where do you overfill the top pto bolt hole
