Chugging at Idle While Rolling and Other Issues...
Hi Chris,
Thanks for the suggestion...
I'll have to check the log book that came with it,but I don't think the flexplate is much over a year old.
I do know it was replaced with a 2nd gen plate from PDR last time it cracked.
I changed the trans fluid tonight...cause it looked a little weary...seemed to make a difference?
More like wishful thinkin'...I'm thinkin'...
Or maybe I'm just gettin' better at drivin' around it...
I'll take a peek at the flexplate and crack the injectors in the next couple days...we'll see if that turns-up anything.
Scott, did it always do this? If not...when did it start? After the motor? The trans? Before the other flexplates went south? Hummmm?
Vinny

Yes, POD's came from Piers. Not sure when, maybe a year ago or so.
Hard to tell when it started as it has done that for a long time. But noticed it mostly after the lift kit was installed. Even in log book should show about shake or something along that line and some of the things I did to try and stop it. It does feel like a big cam in the old gasser days but I really don't think it is motor related. Mostly like the suspension is loading up or something. This is why I purchased the center carrier bearing but never did install it as I heard it needed to be pressed on. I never liked how you could take that and move it with your hand if you tried.
Flex plate isn't that old either, maybe a year but I think less. It was a 2nd gen model from. who else, PDR and Mark sold it to me.
