I got a new intake from Pusher Intakes. I ordered one for a '94-'98 12 valve and asked that they leave off the dipstick mount because ours mount in a different location. Not to mention it looks very clean! Jacob and Nathaneal did a great job on it and it got here fast too!

Made from tig-welded, mandrel bent 6061 T6 aluminum with 5 x 1/8" NPT ports in the back.

It'll look nice with the 3" 6061 T6 aluminum tubing I got as well when the PS i/c goes in.

 

Looks great but For $65 more dollars you can get the whole kit from Tworline, with gaskets, boots, clamps and all....That's what I am going to do Soon.

 

What do you plan to spray through the fittings on the back?

 

I considered Tim's kit for a while but I'm still unsure if I'm going to run my condenser in front or back of the i/c. Tim uses 409 stainless which can still corrode slightly. If he were using 304 or 316 stainless, I absolutely would have bought his kit. Yes, aluminum oxidizes but it will never rust and I plan to use a polish with a protective wax in it. Plus, it weighs next to nothing compared to steel.

I bought 3" tubing in 2ft. lengths (one straight and another mandrel bent to 45*) which will allow me to set the dimensions. Along with the tubing, I purchased silicone boots, reducers and clamps. All of it only came out to only $110. I don't mind having spent an approx. $40 more.

 

I'm thinking water/meth at some point. The other 4, who knows at the moment.

They come standard with 2 ports but for $20 they'll build them with 5. Why not?

I was thinkin the same thing, I love my coolertubz and overall I thought they were a great price for what ya get. I have a buddy with a pusher intake on his 24 valve that he likes though, pretty much the same thing really.

My coolertubz are starting to rust a tiny bit around the flange welds, but I haven't been taking care of it like I should be so I need to get out the steel wool and do some buffing...
