well im 18, graduated last year and had 5 gfs in high school. 2 of them helped me alot along with my friends when i was building my 1st gen. most of the time i had her run me tools or parts across the garage....she was also there for something to look at when i wasnt under the hood or under the truck and a reason to stay calm when stuff didnt go so well.
One question, why a Chev 14 bolt rear instead of a Dana 80?

The best way to check gear ratio is spin the tires and count how many times the driveshaft/pinion spins with one revolution of the tires. This isnt exact but is so close if done accuratly you should be safe.

the corp 14 bolt's hold up pretty well in the dodge pulled some heavy load's and even rolled the truck and rearend never got hurt in fact that's what;s going under my new crewcab project I only ran across 410;s an 456's so they should be easy to find

Just don't get so wrapped up in your projects and working that you don't pay any attention to them.
You will kick yourself for it in ten years if it takes you that long to realize it.

Open the glovebox
You'll see a white sticker with a bunch of Letter/number codes on it.
GU6= 3.42
GT4= 3.73
GT5= 4.10
HC1= 4.56
And next to the gear ratio ^^ there will be a code "G80", thats the code for an LSD
I know my GM trucks quite well

All the girls in my school play games, there all about drama and let's see who can screw a guy over the worst (my whole town full of girls is like that actually)
I never said they weren't fun
I'll wait till next year when i get my license, I'll go 3 towns over in the country and see what's there

brandon, your still in high school, all girls are like that lol Im in my first year of college after graduation and it doesnt change so much. They're not so much about drama or messing with you but in certain ways its just like high school. anyways, If a 14b is really strong, why is a D80 a popular swap? Im interested now cuz i might put a chevro 14 behind the "six banger with a hair dryer".
